While in school Mike worked at a specialty running store in Ottawa and acquired a special interest in assessing and treating overuse running injuries.

Mikes experience at the running store and in conjunction with what he was learning in theory at school provided him with the opportunity to practice on the road with two runners. While raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the runners had the task of running 40K a day for ten days from Ottawa to Toronto. Mike’s position as the team massage therapist was to keep the athletes in running shape for the duration.

Mike enjoys taking on each challenge a client may bring to him by assessing the client’s issues and treating them, such as Whiplash disorder, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, ITB issues and Sciatica
